Position:                    Director of Residential Services

Program Area:           Residential Services

Position Opens:        May 25, 2023

Position Description: Oversight of multiple residential locations and employees that provide person-centered supports for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations.

Job duties include:

• Serve on NHTC’s Leadership team and provide information and input during meetings.
• Perform the planning, organization, and directing of the residential department’s operations and programs.
• Lead and direct the Direct Support Supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State laws, rules/regulations, agency policy and procedures within the department.
• Maintain an open line of communication with Federal, State, and local community members.
• Assist in developing and revising agency policy and procedures.
• Manage and control department expenditures/budgets and provide inventory as appropriate.
• Manage fleet assignments to various programs for optimal use.
• Consult and coordinate with team members regarding residential needs of individuals.
• Provide technical assistance in individual plan development.
• Provide administrative duties as assigned for various platforms used by the agency.
• Participate in and/or lead committees as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Two to four years related experience.
• Computer competence in web-based documentation, word processing and spreadsheets.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Well organized and able to work with minimal supervision.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May also include shifts at various residential program areas.
